Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for its Surgical Robotics portfolio in EMEA. You will provide expert remote support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1, liaising with HCPs, SUS, and FSEs, and drive escalation when needed.

The role requires engineering credentials, 4+ years in robotics or capital equipment, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian. Occasional on-site work across borders is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with robotics/ capital equipment experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience in robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Experience analysing technical issues for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvements.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
