Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 analytics platform across EMEA. The role focuses on remote technical support, with occasional onsite duties and international collaboration to resolve complex issues in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Ideal candidates hold a biomedical/engineering degree, are fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian, and have hands-on robotics experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering (or medical degree with technical skills)
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2)
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment
Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize
Experience with analysing technical issues for improvement
Experience with software troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE
Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests
Perform technical activities with judgement and ownership of improvements
Ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite participation domestically and internationally
Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET, on-call 7AM–7PM with rotating coverage
