Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Surgical Robotics portfolio in the EMEA region. The role focuses on supporting the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform, communicating clearly with health care professionals, SUS and FSEs, and facilitating escalation as needed.

Candidates should have an engineering background with robotics experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work remotely across borders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with at least 2 years.
• Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Escalate issues and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with fellow specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own documentation and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Occasional on-site support/training domestically and internationally.
