Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform across EMEA. The role requires technical excellence, patient-focused communication, and the ability to explain complex issues to healthcare professionals and field engineers.

The position offers remote work with international travel as needed, regular CET hours, and an incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian is required.
• Experience in robotics or motion control within a large capital equipment environment.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering or medical degree with technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to healthcare professionals and field staff.
• Drive escalation and initiate field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
