Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for its Surgical Robotics portfolio in the EMEA region. You will explain complex technical issues related to the Hugo robot-assisted system and DS1 to healthcare professionals, SUS, and FSEs, operating primarily remotely with some domestic and international on-site activity.

The role demands a strong background in engineering, robotics, and problem-solving, with fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian and excellent communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a capital equipment environment.
Strong communication and organization, able to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to healthcare professionals and field service engineers.
Lead escalation processes to resolve customer issues and trigger field service when needed.
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Own documentation and drive continuous improvement projects.
Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
