Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 across EMEA. The role requires strong technical communication with healthcare professionals, SUS and field service engineers, plus hands-on troubleshooting and documentation ownership.

Applicants will work in a remote capacity with international onsite options, and must be fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or a medical degree with technical skills.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Highly organized, flexible, multi-tasking and capable of prioritizing assignments.
Experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a technical liaison.
Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues; initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Own continuous improvement projects and ensure prompt, complete documentation.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite work domestically and internationally.
Regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 rotation.
