Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for its Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform in Europe, supporting HCPs, SUS and FSEs. The role demands medical engineering knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work across time zones to ensure patient-centric service.

The position emphasizes rigorous problem-solving, documentation discipline, and occasional on-site training across domestic and international locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in biomedical/ electrical/ mechanical engineering with 4+ years of experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and serve as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
