Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform to support healthcare professionals across EMEA. You’ll work remotely with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally, handling complex service requests and driving escalation when needed.

The role requires engineering or medical backgrounds with robotics experience and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian, ensuring clear communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering; or medical degree with tech skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and coordinate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Occasionally provide onsite training domestically and internationally.
