Job summary

Medtronic seeks a remote Technical Services Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform across Europe from Madrid and other locations. You will explain complex technical issues to HCPs, SUS and FSE, and collaborate with global teams to ensure service quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 2+ years, or a medical degree with technical skills.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
Drive escalation to resolve customer issues, initiating field service support when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
Ensure all documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training (domestically and internationally).
Regular working hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7:00–19:00 with rotating coverage.
