Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform. The role involves explaining complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, start-up specialists, and field service engineers across EMEA.

Strong robotics background and multi-country coordination are essential. The position offers full-time hours with on-call shifts and opportunities to support in various locations across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a tech liaison.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues; initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects with technical activities requiring judgment.
• Ensure all documentation and system entries are completed promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
