Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support Hugo and DS1 platforms across EMEA. The role demands strong clinical tech skills, robotics experience, and multi-language fluency (Portuguese, English, Italian).

Occasional international travel and domestic onsite work are required. You will troubleshoot, escalate, and coordinate with field engineers while maintaining rigorous documentation and contributing to optimization projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a medical/operating room setting.
• Experience with software troubleshooting and documenting technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Lead escalation to resolve customer issues and trigger field service when needed.
• Collaborate with peers to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical tasks requiring judgment and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Primarily remote support with occasional domestic and international onsite work.
• Work hours 08:00–16:30 CET; on-call 07:00–19:00 rotating.
