Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and the DS1 platform across EMEA. You will explain complex tech issues to HCPs, SUS, and FSEs, coordinate escalations, and work with a global team to advance continuous improvement in a fast-paced operating room environment.

The role requires engineering or medical degrees with relevant robotics experience, fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian, and readiness for remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and documentation skills.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a technical liaison.
• Lead escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Carry out technical activities requiring judgment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure timely and complete documentation and system entries.
• Support remote work with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
