Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform across Europe. The role requires strong technical communication with healthcare professionals and field engineers, delivering remote service and occasional on-site support.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree, robotics experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize assignments.
Experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate required field service when needed.
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
