Job summary

Medtronic in Madrid is seeking a remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to support healthcare professionals across EMEA. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and remotely assist on complex technical issues, with occasional on-site visits.

Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Italian, you will collaborate with field service engineers and SUS/FSE teams, manage escalation, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to CET working hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization abilities.
• Experience analyzing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with on-site training availability domestically and internationally.
• Regular hours: 8:00-16:30 CET; On-call 7AM-7PM with rotation.
