Job summary

Medtronic in Madrid is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 AI platform to support Healthcare Professionals, SUS and Field Service Engineers across EMEA.

You will provide remote technical support, lead escalations, collaborate with peers, ensure thorough documentation, and occasionally travel domestically or internationally for onsite training. Working hours 8:00-16:30 CET with on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving in a clinical/operational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive escalation processes to resolve customer issues; initiate field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support, with occasional onsite support/training domestically and internationally.
• Regular working hours 8:00-16:30 CET; On-call availability 7AM-7PM (rotation).
