Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 AI-powered platform. You will communicate with health care professionals, SUS and FSEs, handling complex technical issues in a global EMEA scope.

The role requires a biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering background, 4+ years of relevant experience, and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian. On-call rotation and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical, electrical, or mechanical engineering with 4+ years' experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large equipment environment.
Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize competing assignments.
Experience with analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and have ownership of continuous improvement projects.
Ensure all documentation and system entries are completed promptly.
Focus on remote support, with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
Regular working hours 8:00-16:30 CET. On-call availability 7AM-7PM (rotation between colleagues).
