Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Services Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform across EMEA. You will assist healthcare professionals, start-up specialists, and field service engineers, guiding troubleshooting and remote resolution of complex technical issues.

The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, multilingual communication, and the ability to operate in a high-stakes operating room environment with occasional onsite work and a defined CET work window.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or medical degree with technical skills.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
Highly organized with multi-tasking and prioritization abilities.
Experience analyzing technical issues and pursuing continuous improvement.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
Lead escalation to resolve issues and arrange field service as needed.
Collaborate with peers to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Own documentation and ensure timely system entries.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
Work 8:00-16:30 CET with on-call rotation (7AM-7PM).
