Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support Hugo and DS1 platforms across EMEA. This role emphasizes clear communication with health care professionals, SUS, and FSEs, and requires strong problem-solving in a surgical environment.

The position offers primarily remote work with occasional domestic and international onsite support, working 8:00–16:30 CET and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, with 4+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Medical degree with technical skills and experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation and system entries are completed promptly.
