Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic-assisted system and DS1 in EMEA. You will explain complex technical issues to health care professionals, SUS and FSEs, leveraging strong problem-solving in a medical operating room context.

The role emphasizes remote support with some on-site training across domestic and international sites, working hours 8:00–16:30 CET, and on-call coverage. Fluency in PT, EN, IT is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Experience with analysing technical issues and processes for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as liaison between stakeholders and operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues; initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with ownership of continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
• Maintain regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET and on-call 7AM–7PM with rotation.
