Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics across EMEA. You will explain complex Hugo RAS and DS1 technical issues to healthcare professionals, startups, and field engineers, offering remote support with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

Degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or medical degree with technical skills
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2)
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment
Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize
Experience with analysing technical issues for continuous improvement
Experience with software troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE
Drive escalation processes to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects
Ensure documentation and system entries are completed promptly
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite/domestic and international work
Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7AM–7PM with rotating coverage
