Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo system and DS1 across EMEA. You will communicate with health care professionals and field engineers, handling remote troubleshooting and escalations.

The role requires engineering or medical training with strong analytical skills, fluency in Portuguese/English/Italian, and readiness for domestic and international travel. It is a full-time remote position with flexible benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with required experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive escalation processes to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Own documentation and drive continuous improvement projects.
Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
Regular hours 08:00–16:30 CET; on-call 07:00–19:00 with rotating schedule.
