Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for its Surgical Robotics portfolio in EMEA. You will provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and field service teams.

You will escalate issues, collaborate with peers, and drive continuous improvement while occasionally offering onsite training across international sites. Regular hours are 8:00–16:30 CET with rotating on-call coverage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with required experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple assignments.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE as a technical liaison.
Drive escalation process and coordinate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation/system entries are fully complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
Regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM (rotating).
