Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform in Europe. You will explain complex issues to HCPs, SUS and FSEs and coordinate remote support with occasional onsite training across multiple countries.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree with robotics experience, strong problem-solving skills, and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or a medical degree with technical skills and experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control within a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized, flexible, multi-tasking and able to prioritize assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and serve as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues, including initiating required field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are completed promptly.
