Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform. You will support healthcare professionals and field engineers across EMEA, solving complex issues with analytical and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes remote assistance with occasional international travel, clear documentation, and on-call rotations. Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian at C1/C2 levels
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
• Experience analyzing technical issues and driving continuous improvement
• Experience with software troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE
• Drive the escalation process and coordinate field service when needed
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex service requests
• Carry out technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvement projects
• Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally
• Work hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7:00-19:00 rotation
