Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and the DS1 AI-powered operating room platform. You will provide remote technical support to HCPs, SUS and FSEs and act as a liaison to escalation and field services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in biomedical, electrical or mechanical engineering, with 4+ years’ experience (or 2+ with an advanced degree) and is fluent in Portuguese,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/ electrical/ mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience or 2+ years with an advanced degree.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Escalate and coordinate required field service support.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own documentation and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are completed promptly.
• Primarily remote with occasional on-site support/training across Europe.
