Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Surgical Robotics portfolio in EMEA. You will explain advanced Hugo robotic technology and DS1 analytics to healthcare professionals, start-up specialists, and field engineers, delivering remote support with occasional domestic and international onsite work.

The role requires engineering or medical credentials, fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian, and 4+ years in robotics or high-end equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
Experience analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
Navigate the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation and system entries are fully complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training internationally.
