Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a remote Technical Service Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics platform, supporting EMEA healthcare professionals, start-up specialists, and field service engineers. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, escalation management, and collaboration across teams in a remote, global setting.

The candidate should have an engineering degree with robotics experience, excellent communication skills, and willingness to travel for on-site training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP/SUS/FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is complete.
• Occasional on-site support/training domestically and internationally.
• Regular hours 8:00–16:30 CET; on-call 7AM–7PM with rotating coverage.
