Job summary

Medtronic seeks a remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 analytics across the EMEA region. You will provide expert remote diagnostics, guide HCPs, SUS, and FSEs, and coordinate field support as needed, aligning with cross-functional teams to maintain service quality.

This role requires a biomedical/engineering background, 4+ years in robotics or capital equipment, and fluency in English, Italian, and Portuguese.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, with relevant experience.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Drive escalation process to resolve customer issues, including field service coordination.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and ownership of improvements.
Ensure documentation and system entries are complete in a timely manner.
Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training internationally.
