Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals and field engineers, providing remote support across EMEA with occasional onsite and international travel.

The role requires engineering in biomedical/electrical/mechanical fields, fluency in Portuguese, English, and Italian, and experience with robotics. A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
Escalate issues and arrange field service when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
Ensure documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training (domestic and international).
On-call duties 7:00–19:00 CET, rotating among colleagues.
