Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to support clients remotely by identifying and resolving technical incidents and ensuring service levels are met. This role involves using service assurance tools, documenting incidents, and collaborating with teams to drive timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field is required.
• Associate level certification in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, CCNA etc. is preferred.
• Entry level experience in Networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate, diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents and maintains configuration item records.
