Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) in Madrid. This entry level role focuses on remote technical support, identifying and resolving incidents to meet SLA, and maintaining service quality across clients.

You will diagnose issues, use service assurance tools, document resolutions, and coordinate with clients and vendors while building expertise in Cisco/Juniper/Aruba and related networking platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry level experience with routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution and core/access layers.
• Experience providing remote technical support for networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate in region to provide professional remote technical support and incident resolution.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve network incidents following standard procedures.
• Maintain incident records, logs and knowledge articles to improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors and internal teams to restore services and prevent recurrences.
