Job summary

NTT DATA is looking for an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to operate remotely in the Madrid region, delivering professional remote technical support and incident resolution for clients.

You will follow prescribed procedures, use service assurance tools, and collaborate with users and vendors to restore services while building expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Riverbed technologies. This role emphasizes client-focused service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures that requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out maintenance tasks and updates knowledge articles as required.
• Monitors service delivery against SLAs and maintains records of information.
• Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents and escalates unresolved issues.
• Provides service recovery and follows up until resolution.
• Keeps configuration items secure and up to date.
