Job summary

NTT DATA in Spain is hiring an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support to clients and resolve incidents.

You will work with service assurance tools, follow procedures, and escalate issues as needed while building knowledge across Cisco/Juniper/Aruba environments.

This remote role requires strong communication across cultures, willingness to learn, and the ability to maintain SLAs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing.
• Associate level networking certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry level experience in networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless.
• Entry level experience providing remote support to clients.
• Ability to communicate across cultures and work in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support follow procedures.
• Uses service assurance tools to diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following defined procedures.
• Performs defined maintenance tasks and monitors service delivery.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and tracks them to resolution.
• Keeps documentation and configuration items up to date.
