Job summary

NTT DATA in Spain is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to join our team. You will provide remote technical support to clients, identify and resolve incidents, and ensure service levels are met.

You will work with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba and other vendors, perform maintenance tasks, document incidents, and collaborate with clients and suppliers to deliver timely resolutions. This is a stepping stone role with exposure to international projects within a global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, computing or related field.
• Associate level networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry-level networking knowledge in routing, switching, WLAN.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures that requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Performs defined tasks to monitor service delivery against SLAs and maintains records.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents according to procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of specialisms and provides advice on their application.
• Coordinates product requests and collaborates with clients and vendors to expedite resolution.
