Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients across networking domains. You will identify, diagnose and resolve incidents, ensuring SLA compliance and coordination with stakeholders to deliver timely resolutions.

The role emphasizes incident prevention, knowledge use, and root-causes analysis, with a focus on remote work and cross-cultural collaboration within a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate and diagnose problems; compiles performance stats and reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following procedures; carries out maintenance tasks.
• Monitors service delivery against SLAs and maintains records of information.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution."
• Documents and closes resolved incidents per procedures; maintains CI configurations.
• Cooperates with client IT environments, vendors and teams to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
