Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to operate in the region and provide professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents. You will drive incidents to resolution, ensuring zero missed SLA conditions and maintain configuration items securely.

The role involves maintaining the support process, using service assurance tools, diagnosing problems, and escalating unresolved incidents until resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level networking certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry level experience with routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
• Entry level experience providing remote support in Networking technologies.
• Entry level experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems, collects performance statistics and creates reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
• Monitors service delivery against service level agreements and maintains records.
