Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to operate in the region and provide professional remote technical support to clients, identifying and resolving incidents and problems.

The role focuses on pre-emptive service incident handling, restoring service, and ensuring requests and resolutions meet SLA requirements. It emphasizes knowledge of vendor technologies and remote support capabilities across diverse client environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing.
Associate level certifications in networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
Entry level knowledge of vendor technologies and remote support fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Makes sure requests for support are handled per procedures and maintains the support process.
Uses service assurance tools to investigate problems, collect stats and report findings.
Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures and performs maintenance tasks.
Monitors service delivery against SLA and logs relevant information.
Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution; provides recovery once fixed.
