Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to operate in the region and provide professional remote technical support. The role focuses on identifying and resolving incidents, driving timely resolutions, and ensuring zero missed SLA conditions across service events.

Key responsibilities include maintaining support processes, diagnosing problems, escalating where needed and updating portals and tickets with accurate information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level networking certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.).
• Entry-level experience in networking technologies and remote client support.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests are handled per procedures.
• Uses service tools to diagnose problems, collect performance data and report findings.
• Identifies and resolves problems following approved procedures.
• Performs defined maintenance tasks and uses knowledge articles for resolution.
• Monitors service delivery against SLAs and maintains records.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Documents and closes incidents per procedures and keeps CIs updated.
• Cooperates with clients, vendors and teams to expedite error diagnosis.
