Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients, identify and resolve incidents, and ensure zero missed SLAs. The role involves maintaining configuration records, applying knowledge articles, and coordinating with vendors and clients to expedite diagnosis and resolution.

Ideal candidates have basic networking knowledge, a bachelor’s degree in IT or computing, and entry-level certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in Networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures that requests for support are handled according to procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate and diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Performs defined maintenance tasks.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents according to procedures.
