Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support to clients. You will identify and resolve incidents, drive problems to resolution, and ensure SLA adherence across service operations.

Responsibilities include incident logging, diagnostic investigations, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining configuration records. A bachelor’s in IT/computing and basic networking knowledge are required, with vendor certs a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computing or related field.
• Associate level networking certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA) preferred.
• Entry-level experience in networking concepts and remote client support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain support processes and ensure requests follow procedures.
• Use service assurance tools to diagnose problems and generate reports.
• Identify and resolve problems following approved procedures.
• Perform maintenance tasks and update knowledge articles.
• Monitor service delivery against SLAs and maintain records.
• Escalate unresolved incidents and drive toward resolution.
• Provide service recovery post-incident and document resolutions.
• Keep configurations on CIs accurate and up-to-date.
• Log incidents with detail and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve.
