Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to operate in-region, delivering professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents. The role emphasizes adherence to procedures, knowledge of networking fundamentals, and collaboration with clients and vendors.

Ideal candidates hold a IT/Computing degree and associate networking certifications, with willingness to work remotely across international regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing.
• Associate level certification in networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.).
• Entry level experience in networking technologies including routing, switching, Wireless, and core/access layers.
• Experience providing remote client support and diagnosing/troubleshooting incidents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the support process and handle requests according to procedures.
• Use service assurance tools to diagnose problems and report performance statistics.
• Identify and resolve problems following approved procedures.
• Perform defined maintenance tasks and monitor service delivery.
• Escalate unresolved incidents and follow up until resolution.
• Document resolved incidents and maintain configuration items (CIs).
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to accelerate diagnosis and resolution.
