Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) for remote regional work. This entry-level engineering role delivers professional remote technical support, identifies and resolves incidents, and drives them to resolution while ensuring SLA adherence.

You will work with networks, vendors and clients, performing maintenance tasks and documenting issues. A bachelor’s degree in IT or computing and entry-level networking knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or Computing.
• Entry-level networking knowledge in routing, switching and wireless.
• CCNA/JNCIA/ACMA or similar certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the support process and handle requests per procedures.
• Use service assurance tools to diagnose problems and collect performance data.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve problems following defined procedures.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks and update knowledge articles.
• Monitor service delivery against SLAs and document incidents and resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved incidents and follow up until resolution.
