Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support to clients, identify and resolve incidents, and drive resolutions to meet SLA targets. You will use service assurance tools, document incidents, and coordinate with stakeholders to restore services quickly.

This entry-level role requires basic networking knowledge, excellent communication across cultures, and a proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.
• Entry level knowledge of vendor technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, RiverBed, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operates in region and provides remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents.
• Uses service assurance tools to investigate, diagnose problems, and report performance statistics.
• Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents and escalates unresolved ones until resolution.
• Maintains knowledge of specialisms and provides detailed advice on their application.
• Documents and closes resolved incidents and keeps configuration records up to date.
