Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to deliver professional remote technical support, identify and resolve incidents, and restore services while meeting SLAs. This entry-level role emphasizes incident diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with clients and vendors.

Key responsibilities include monitoring service delivery, maintaining configuration records, and contributing to knowledge base updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as (but not limited to) Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA etc.
Entry level experience in Networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
Entry level experience in technical support to clients.
Entry level experience providing remote support in Networking technologies.

Responsibilities

Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled according to procedures.
Uses service assurance software to investigate and diagnose problems and creates reports.
Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
Performs defined maintenance tasks and updates knowledge articles when needed.
Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution and keeps clients informed.
