Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to deliver remote technical support, identify incidents, and drive resolutions within established SLAs. This entry-level role requires basic networking knowledge and strong communication across cultures.

You will document incidents, use knowledge articles, and coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure timely problem resolution while maintaining security and configuration records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level networking certifications such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.
• Entry-level experience in networking technologies including routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and handles requests per procedures.
• Uses service tools to investigate, diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Performs defined maintenance tasks and monitors service delivery against SLAs.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
