Job summary

NTT DATA in Spain is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support to clients, identify incidents, and drive resolution while maintaining SLA adherence. You will work with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, RiverBed technologies, help diagnose problems, apply knowledge articles, and coordinate with suppliers and other teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computing or related field.
• Associate networking certs (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry-level experience in networking technologies and remote client support.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance tools to diagnose problems, collect stats, and report findings.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Performs defined maintenance tasks.
• Uses knowledge articles in incident diagnosis and resolution and updates as needed.
• Monitors service delivery against SLAs and keeps records.
• Analyzes service records against SLAs to identify actions to improve levels of service.
• Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents and escalates unresolved ones.
• Investigates causes and seeks resolutions.
• Coordinates with clients and teams to ensure repairs are completed.
• Provides feedback to clients and updates systems and portals as prescribed.
