Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide professional remote technical support to clients, identify incidents, and resolve issues to meet SLAs. The role emphasizes knowledge of core networking, basic vendor technologies, and strong customer communication.

You will work in a remote work setting, handling incident diagnosis, escalation, and coordination with internal teams while learning and applying approved remedies and preventative measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certifications in networking technologies (Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/CCNA/JNCIA/ACMA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and handles requests per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate, diagnose problems and report findings.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Performs defined maintenance tasks and monitors service delivery against SLAs.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Documents and closes incidents and maintains CI configuration records.
