Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support, identify incidents, and restore services while meeting SLA expectations. This entry-level role operates in distributed environments and collaborates with clients and internal teams to diagnose issues.

You will monitor service delivery, use knowledge articles, document incidents, and escalate when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
• Entry level experience in networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the support process and ensure requests are handled per procedures.
• Use service assurance tools to diagnose problems and report performance stats.
• Identify and resolve problems following agreed procedures.
• Perform defined maintenance tasks and update knowledge articles as needed.
• Monitor service delivery against SLAs and log relevant information.
• Escalate unresolved incidents and follow up until resolution.
