Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to join our team. You will provide remote technical support to clients, diagnose incidents and work toward prompt resolution while adhering to SLA targets.

This role requires basic knowledge of routing, switching and vendor technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba). You will log incidents, maintain configuration records and coordinate with clients and partners to ensure reliable service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in different Networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software to investigate, diagnose problems and create reports.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution.
• Remotely investigates root causes and helps implement remedies.
• Keeps accurate records of CIs and configurations.
