Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring a Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to provide remote technical support and resolve incidents for clients. The role focuses on pre-emptive service, incident restoration, and maintaining SLAs while working across cultures in a remote environment.

As an entry-level engineer, you will apply knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and RiverBed technologies, perform defined maintenance tasks, and document incidents and resolutions according to procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
Associate level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA, etc.
Entry level experience in Networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
Entry level experience in technical support to clients.
Entry level experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting.
Entry level experience providing remote support in Networking technologies.

Responsibilities

Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support follow procedures.
Uses service assurance tools to investigate and diagnose problems and create reports.
Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
Monitors service delivery against SLAs and keeps records up to date.
Escalates unresolved incidents and ensures timely resolution.
